Meet Your Practitioner

My passion for health and wellbeing began long before I became a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Growing up in Monaghan, Ireland, I developed a lifelong interest in sport, martial arts and understanding how the body moves, heals and performs. It was through martial arts that I was first introduced to the principles of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, sparking a fascination with how acupuncture points could influence both performance and healing.

That curiosity led me to begin my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Dublin in 2010, before continuing my education in London in 2016. Alongside my acupuncture training, I pursued a career in healthcare and qualified as an Adult Registered Nurse. Today, I work within the Neurological Surgery Department at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where I care for patients with complex neurological conditions and rehabilitation needs.

My experience in both modern healthcare and Traditional Chinese Medicine has shaped the philosophy behind Serenity Acupuncture & Naturopathic Wellness Centre. I believe the best care comes from understanding the whole person—not simply treating symptoms. Every consultation is an opportunity to listen, understand your individual health concerns and create a personalised treatment plan that supports your body's natural ability to heal.

I have a particular interest in supporting people living with chronic pain, stress-related conditions, women's and men's health, digestive health and general wellbeing. Whether using Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Electro Acupuncture, Cupping Therapy, Lifestyle Guidance or Naturopathic Advice, my aim is always the same: to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care in a calm and welcoming environment.

In recognition of my contribution to Traditional Chinese Medicine and my work during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was honoured to receive the Silk Road Friendship Ambassador Award in China in 2022.

Thank you for taking the time to visit Serenity. I look forward to welcoming you and supporting you on your journey towards better health and wellbeing.
